Scholarship Program
Purpose:
The Davies Booster Club Scholarship Program is focused on supporting students pursuing career training or post-secondary education following graduation from Davies High School. The scholarship recognizes students who are actively involved at Davies High School by participating in a variety extracurricular activities.
Eligibility
To be considered for the Davies Booster Club Scholarship:
1. The applicant must be a senior at Davies High School.
2. The applicant has a 3.0 cumulative GPA (unweighted)
3. The applicant’s parent or guardian must be a member of the Davies Booster Club prior to January 1st of the application year.
4. The applicant must be enrolled or planning to enroll in a regionally or nationally accredited university, college, or vocational school on a full-time basis.
5. The applicant must submit the completed application in its entirety by the application deadline by email to: info@daviesbooster.com
Requirements to be submitted together:Eligibility Confirmation Application completed in full. 2 Letters of recommendation; one from a teacher, counselor or principal & one from a coach or club advisor completed & submitted online.Certificate of Accuracy and Permission to Use.
Applications Accepted
January 1 through April 1 by 11:59 pm
Selection: The Davies Booster Club Scholarship Committee will review applications and award based on available funding. The scholarship will be presented to the recipient(s) at the Academic Awards Banquet in May.
**If an applicant has a family member that is a Booster Club Board Member, the Board Member will not be part of the Scholarship Committee that year.
Awards: One female and one male student will be awarded $500 one-time scholarship distributed directly to the Facility or Institution in which the recipient is enrolled on a full-time basis for the following academic year.
